Bowtie Silver Chain
Handmade silver chain is a labor of love. Each link was drawn, linked, stretched, hammered, and soldered by hand.
I do not normally work in chain-making but have been wanting to experiment with interesting linking patterns and tricky soldering connections.
The stretched base chain elements are individually “hugged” by a smaller link which becomes trapped in the “bows” of the bowtie. Each of the hugging links move freely.
A thicker hook clasp element is clasping the tear shaped ending link.
This chain is 19.5” in length.
