Worry Stone Specimen Necklace: Quartz & Tourmaline
First release of the worry-stone pendants.
Solid silver all around.
Smooth and clear quartz worry-stone is bezel set above a treasure trove of multi colored tumbled tourmaline “sand”. This sand moves freely with the wearer and can be shaken around for soothing sounds or to pass time finding the perfectly colored tourmaline sand granule.
The quartz’s worry-stone shape, much like the playful nature of the sand. Adds to the relationship with the wearer in their day to day life. For many like myself having something on hand to fiddle with and play with can ease day to day anxieties when out and about in the world.
The hidden or reversible backside features a hand forged scarab beetle jumping out from the sheet of textured silver. With each indentation representing a singular hammer-strike.
The hammer stricken chased patterning found along the backing and sides of the bezel is also brought into the large looped bail. Whose size is made to accommodate an array of chain choices by the wearer with easy swapping.
And what better way to hold this eye candy of a pendant than to hang from a fully handmade silver chain. At 24” in length with a sturdy hook clasp each link was hand drawn, soldered, and stretched. Making this fully fabricated and forged piece quite the statement.
